OSWEGO – On Friday, September 9, at approximately 3:15 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department’s Emergency Services Unit and the Fulton Police Department, executed a search warrant at 223-225 W. Broadway, Apartment # 7 in the city of Fulton.
As a result of the search warrant, approximately 40 grams of cocaine, 94 grams of crack cocaine, packaging and digital scales were seized.
A person at that residence, Omar Vann, 40, of 133 Griffiths St., Syracuse, was arrested and criminally charged with the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, more than a ½ ounce- Class B Felony – 2 counts
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Intent to sell- Class B Felony -2 counts
Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree- Class A Misdemeanor- 2 counts
Total estimated street value of the seized cocaine and crack cocaine is approximately $12,600.
Vann was arraigned in Fulton City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.
Vann is due to reappear in Fulton City Court on September 28 at 9 a.m.
On Thursday, September 15, at approximately 2:10 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the New York State Police and Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, arrested Dallas J. Johnson, 20, and Robin L. Johnson, 53, both of 490 County Route 35 in the town of Palermo.
It is alleged that, based upon a Drug Task Force Investigation, both defendants did sell heroin to another person during the month of August 2016.
Both Johnsons were criminally charged with one count each of the following:
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Intent to sell – Class B Felony
Dallas Johnson was arraigned in Palermo Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
Robin Johnson was arraigned in Palermo Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.
Both are due to reappear in Palermo Town Court on September 19 at 7 p.m.
The relationship between the Johnsons is mother / son.
Further charges are likely in this investigation.
