On February 10 at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Maple Avenue, just west of County Route 6 in the town of Volney, the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Fulton City Police Department, executed a search warrant on a pickup truck being operated by Johnathan A. Baldwin.
Baldwin, 30, of 52 E. Fourth St., Upper Apartment, Oswego, was the target of a Drug Task Force investigation regarding the possession and sales of heroin in and around the city of Fulton.
As a result of the search, investigators located and seized 148 bags of heroin having an estimated street value of $2,960, police said.
Today (February 17), Baldwin was arrested on the following charges:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Intent to sell – Class B Felony Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree – Class A Misdemeanor
Baldwin was arraigned in Volney Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or secure bail bond.
He has a return court date of February 23 at 6 p.m.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Fulton City Police Department and Oswego City Police Department.
