E. Wayne Fairly, 83, a resident of Catherine St. Oswego, passed away January 5, 2012 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Port Arthur, TX, he was the son of the late Ralph and Octavia (Johnson) Fairly.
He attended Lamar College in Beaumont, TX.
He served in the Army Air Force for 3 years.
He was a member of the Pipefitters in Texas before moving to Oswego. He worked locally for the Steamfitters Union #73, combining for more than 60 years as a pipefitter, working on various jobs including supervisor and sight manager at the Nuclear Power Plants.
Wayne was a member of the Tini Time Sportsman Club.
Surviving are his wife, Norma (LeRoy) Fairly; a daughter, Madonna (Don Niblack) Fairly of Colorado; a step-daughter, Dayna (Dave) Cliff of Oswego; two step-sons, Lewis (Debbie) Lewis and Garry (Nancy) Lewis, both of Oswego; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Wayne David Fairly and a brother and sister in law, Ralph Edward and Dorothy Fairly.
Funeral Services will be held privately for close friends and family. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
