Edna M. Town, 79 and a former resident of East Sixth St. in Oswego passed away Monday morning at the Loretto Home of Utica.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late William and Mary Delle Moody. She was the widow of Oliver Town.
She is survived by one daughter Rose Myers of Oswego, three sisters Claudia Grier of Whitney Point, Linda Smart of Mexico, Jeanette Smart of Oswego, eight brothers Bill Stott of Oswego, Claude Moody of Fort mills, SC, William Moody of Binghamton, Albert Moody, Kenneth Moody and James Moody all of Oswego, Harold Moody of Ft. Myers, FL, Roger Moody Halstead, FL, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 9:00AM Thursday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Ingerson officiating. Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-6PM at the funeral home.
