FULTON, NY – Edward Diak, 85, of Fulton, died Saturday September 8, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
He was born in Fulton, a son to the late Metro and Anna Diak, and lived all his life in Fulton.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Edward was a delivery man for Canada Dry, Dorsey Beverage Company and for Onondaga Beverage, where he retired from in 1985.
He was a member of Teamsters Local #1149, Baldwinsville and the Mattydale American Legion.
Edward was a deacon at the former First Congregational Church in Fulton.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Rose M. Diak, who died March 19, 2010; two sisters, Mary Sackett and Kate Best; five brothers, Nicholas, John, Stephen, Joseph and Michael Diak.
Edward is survived by two sons, Douglas and Dennis (Patty) Diak, both of Fulton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.
Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery.
Calling hours will be conducted 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
