Edward William ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œBillÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â Gange, 57, of Hannibal, died October 22, 2008.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â He was born in Oswego and was a resident of Hannibal for the last 18 years.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant on April 1, 1990, after 21 years of service.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â He was a member and past commander of V.F.W. Post 5380, Hannibal and a member of the American Legion Prior Stock Post 1552, Hannibal.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Bill was an avid NASCAR fan.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â He was predeceased by his father, William Edward Gange, who died in 1956 and by his mother, Pauline Boardway GangeÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Gallagher, who died in 1969.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marcia VanPatten Gange; two daughters, Nicole Schumacher of Germany and Wendy Brim of San Antonio, TX; two sons, Steven Neith of San Antonio, TX and Joseph Neith of Hannibal; three sisters, Pauline Gange of San Angela, TX, Mary Ann (George) Ebert of Sterling and Betsy (Joe) Bachety of Baldwin, NY; two granddaughters, Tasha Rowe of Austin, TX and Kurstin Hammond of Hannibal; one grandson, Joseph Brim of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Contributions, in memory of Bill, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O.
