Electronics Recycling Event in Mexico

On Friday June 17th, Saturday June 18th and Sunday June 19th there just might be a solution. Lindsay Loforte, a sophomore German student at Mexico Academy & Central School will offer an electronics recycling event. A truck owned by Bruin Computers of Liverpool will be parked all weekend at 3248 Main Street in the Village of Mexico. Community members are encouraged to recycle their electronics for a donation of their choosing. Recycling saves landfill space, protects the environment and water sources from chemicals and hard metals found in electronics and provides an innovative fund raising idea. Clear your home of unwanted, unusable and broken items and help fund raising efforts for Lindsay as she prepares to travel abroad to Germany and surrounding countries this summer for five weeks with classmates.
