FULTON, NY – Elga M. DuBois, 91, of Volney died Sunday February 19, 2012, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
She was born to the late Byron and Eva (Sivers) Wells in Volney.
She remained a lifetime resident of Volney.
Mrs. DuBois was a homemaker and was a previous member of the Minetto Methodist Church and Mount Pleasant Church, Volney.
She was formerly a member of the Minetto PTA.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ward Bailey, in 1944; and her second husband, Amos E. DuBois, in 2004; and her son, Ward Bailey Jr., in 2007.
Mrs. DuBois is survived by her daughter, Joan (Howard) Samson of Fulton and three stepchildren: James (Jean) DuBois of Granby, George DuBois of Texas and Thomas (Brenda) DuBois of Fulton; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. David Grey officiating at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
Burial will be in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.
Calling hours will be held 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton.
