OSWEGO, NY – Elida Skinner, 96, a resident of Oswego, passed away Wednesday Feb. 1, 2012, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
Born in Bryan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leda Weideman and Pearle Daniels.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a ward secretary in Memorial Hospital,
She was a member of the Oswego Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving are her sons, Charles (Nancy) Skinner of Oswego and William (Carmela) Skinner of Oswego; 7 grandchildren, David Babcock, Ricky Babcock, the late Robert Skinner, Eric Skinner, William, David and Kenneth Skinner; and many great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Skinner, in 1995; and two daughters, Betty
Skinner and Jean Skinner.
Services will be held 1p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Spring Burial will be in Mexico Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 13 County Route 85.
