Emergency Response Training on Oneida Lake May 19

ONEIDA LAKE – The Oneida Lake Emergency Response Task Force will conduct a training exercise On Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon.

The drill takes place near Frenchman’s Island on Oneida Lake.

The Oneida Lake Emergency Response Task Force is made up of emergency response groups from Oswego, Onondaga, Madison and Oneida counties.

The groups include fire and sheriff departments, EMS and ambulances units, the U.S. Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary, dive teams and various support groups.

If you are in the area of Oneida Shores or Frenchman’s Island, please be aware of increased traffic and restricted areas for exercise participants only.
