Empower Federal Credit Union’s Fulton West branch has a brand new look and is celebrating with an open house. The public is invited to stop by Empower’s branch at 722 West Broadway, Fulton, the week of December 14, Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Friday. Visitors will enjoy refreshments and giveaways throughout the week, while taking in the new interior.
The main reason for the renovation of the existing branch, according to Judy Graham, Empower’s vice president of branch operations, is to provide an environment that conveys warmth and personality and makes members feel welcome. The facility is a transactional branch and services focus on teller transactions. Renovations were made with those needs, and the needs of the members in that community, in mind.
â€ÂAt one time, this branch was a payment center for a cable TV company,†says Graham. “It looks completely different from what visitors to that building are accustomed to seeing. The new, warmer environment shows who we are at Empower.†She adds that the new self-service coin counting machine, available to members at no charge, is also a great teaching tool for kids to learn about saving.
The Fulton West branch is one of three Empower locations in Oswego County. Empower Federal Credit Union also has branches at 520 South 2nd Street, Fulton, also open Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and 100 George Street, Oswego.
