LYCOMING, NY – Entergy Nuclear has named Brian R. Sullivan site vice president of the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant in Scriba.
In this role, Sullivan is responsible for FitzPatrick’s overall safety, security, and reliability. He succeeds Larry Coyle who has been named site vice president at the Indian Point Energy Center in Buchanan, NY.
Sullivan began his career with Entergy in 1999 and joined FitzPatrick in 2010, serving as the site’s general manager of plant operations. Prior to his career with Entergy, Sullivan held various other senior positions at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station when the plant was owned and operated by Boston Edison.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
Sullivan also held a Second Assistant Engineer License from the U.S. Coast Guard and a Senior Reactor Operator License.
