OSWEGO – Art Association of Oswego 34th Annual Members’ Art Exhibition plus Small Art Show and Sale

Two exciting new events are coming soon to the Art Association of Oswego. The 34th Annual AAO Members’ Art Exhibition, and the Small Art Show and Sale.

The AAO Members’ Show will run from July 6 till August 4th. This exhibition will be hung in the Timothy McHenry Gallery on the second floor of the Art Center.

A number of prizes will be awarded, including cash and a solo show award for 2025. The suggested theme of this year’s members’ show is old and new, which encourages members to display one artwork less than two years old and one artwork more than two years old with no time limit.

The opening reception for this show will be held on Saturday, July 6 from 7 to 9 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Music and refreshments are planned.

In conjunction with the first two weekends of the Members’ Show, there will be the Small Art Show and Sale in the Kirk Beason gallery on the first floor of the Art Center. Small-scale artworks no larger than 12 inches in any direction, created by local artists, will be sold directly off the wall or pedestal for prices of $20 or less. Part or all of the sale price will go to the

AAO. The Show will run until July 14th. The Oswego Civic Arts Center is located at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in Oswego, directly across from Historic Fort Ontario. Regular gallery hours are from 10am to 1 pm on Saturdays, from 1 pm to 4pm on Sundays, and 10am to 2pm on Wednesdays. For more info, check www.oswegoarts.org.
