OSWEGO, NY – SUNY Oswego’s Indie Music Series will feature a triple bill of Lost Lander, The Scarlet Ending, and Cu-Cu at 5 p.m. April 1, in the Hewitt Union lobby.
Founded by singer/songwriter Matt Sheehy, Lost Lander features five musicians from Portland, Ore. Combining organic folk acoustics with pop elements, the band began as the follow-up to “Tigerphobia,” a 2008 solo release by Sheehy.

The group is currently touring their debut album DRRT, which features a fold-out planetarium with purchase.
The Scarlet Ending returns after originally playing the Indie Series with William Fitzsimmons in March 2011. The group’s recordings include two full-length albums, 2011’s “Ghost” and 2006’s “Cries and Whispers,” and a 2005 self-titled EP.
Under the stage name Cu-Cu, Miles George of Rochester also joins the lineup at SUNY Oswego. From 2006 to 2011, Cu-Cu has written and recorded five full-length albums and an EP. George is well known for his integration of electronic pop and folk-rock music.
Tickets for the concert are $8 for the general public and $3 for SUNY Oswego students, and are available at all SUNY Oswego box offices, online at http://tickets.oswego.edu and by calling 315-312-2141.
SUNY Oswego’s ARTSwego Performing Arts Series and the student-run WNYO-FM radio station support the Indie Music Series.
