OSWEGO – The Art Association of Oswego is inviting the community to enter artwork in their next exhibition, Lost, but not forgotten. This exhibition is the chance for family or friends to show artwork by artists who have passed away. The show was very well received last year and many people from the community expressed an interest in showing the art of family or of a friend who has passed on, but certainly not forgotten. We ask that each interested person submit one piece, with a short description of the artist and their relationship to the person submitting the artwork.

Last year the exhibition was limited to AAO members, but this year non-members may also submit one artwork. For non-members of the AAO there is a display fee of $10.00. To submit an artwork please bring it to the Art Association of Oswego during Drop-off times which will be Tuesday, September 9th, 5-8pm or Wednesday, September 10th, from10-2pm. All artworks that are submitted must be completely framed and ready for display. The show will be open from Saturday, September 13 to Sunday, October 5, with an Opening Reception Saturday, September 13th from 3pm until 5pm. The Opening is free and open to the public. For more information visit the AAO website Oswegoarts.org or email [email protected]. The AAO is located at 30 Barbara Donahue Drive, in the red brick building that is right across the street from Fort Ontario.
