FULTON, NY – With a cast of more than 35 adults and children and a musical version of a beloved classic, CNY Arts Center is set to open Narnia, a musical based on The Lion, the witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis.

Directed by Amy Price and music directed by Gina Holsopple, the cast has been in rehearsal for more than six weeks learning stage combat, English accents, and a beautiful score.
A five-piece pit band will accompany the cast as they bring the story to life April 17 through 26 with evening performances April 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and performances April 19 and 26 at 2:30 p.m.
With fantasy Narnian creatures and “Cruelies” from the White Witch, costumes are inspired and created by professional theatre designer Nellica Rave, with each mystical being having a fully developed character and specific costume interpretation.

Nelson Metz, set builder, has created the magical wardrobe taking the Pevensie children, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, played by Justin Grower, Emily Oldenburg, Charlie Stoutenger and Rimma Manikiewicz respectively, into the world of Narnia to complete their destiny for the mighty Aslan, Matthew McCabe.
Many more delights are in store for audiences when the musical opens April 17 at CNY Arts Center located at 11 River Glen Drive on the Cayuga Community College Campus.
Tickets are available online at CNYArtsCenter.com or by calling 598-ARTS (2787).
