Oswego Opera Readies “Carmen”

Fight Choreographer Amos Margulies works with cast members Joan Anderson and Patty Tyrie in a rehearsal for “Carmen”. Action in the opening scene in the opera includes a fight among the women working at a cigarette factory in Seville, Spain. The opera also includes a sword fight and other violent confrontations. For safety and realism, the New York City choreographer has been brought to rehearsals to coach cast members.
Oswego Opera presents “Carmen” on Thursday, October 30 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, November 2 at 2:30 pm at Waterman Theater. For tickets, call Tyler Hall Box Office 312-2142.
