SUNY Oswego Focus On Faculty To Feature Saxophone Quartet On March 24

SUNY OSWEGO – The brassy sounds of the Bacchus Saxophone Quartet will fill the Sheldon Hall ballroom for SUNY Oswego’s next Focus on Faculty concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 24.

The Bacchus Saxophone Quartet consists of saxophonists Daniel and Marilee Blumenthal with SUNY Oswego music faculty members Steve Defren and Trevor Jorgensen. They will perform Alexander Glazunov’s “Quartett,” Astor Piazzolla’s “Histoire Du Tango,” Gordon Jacob’s “Saxophone Quartet” and a movement from David Maslanka’s “Mountain Roads.“

Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
