OSWEGO COUNTY – Symphoria, the professional orchestra of Central New York, has partnered with four Oswego County organizations to provide no-cost holiday entertainment for a range of Oswego and Fulton residents.
Symphoria will present its annual Holiday Pops series concerts on Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19, featuring local vocalist Ronnie Leigh. The Symphoria musicians will perform with no in-person audience at Inspiration Hall in Syracuse, and the concert will be available worldwide via internet livestream.
Members of the Oswego YMCA and Fulton Family YMCA can register for a limited number of spaces to view the concerts. Those Y members will be able to enjoy the performances in the community room or youth center of their respective Y, with social distancing measures in place. Catholic Charities of Oswego County will refer up to 30 families to watch the concerts from home, thus serving up to an additional 120 residents of Oswego County.
Symphoria is proud to support the work of the Oswego YMCA, the Fulton Family YMCA, and Catholic Charities of Oswego County by bringing some holiday joy to their clients. This Symphoria project was funded in part by a grant from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation. The grant underwriting makes the livestream tickets for Symphoria’s Holiday Pops concerts a gift for so many Oswego County families.
