OSWEGO – The Art Association of Oswego is pleased to announce the opening of two new art exhibitions, Word and Images and Architecture of Happiness. The opening reception will be on Saturday, May 3rd from 7 to 9 pm. The public is welcome. In the upstairs gallery there will be the exciting exhibition called Words and Images. This show will feature original artwork paired with original writings by local artists. Poetry or prose will be framed and displayed next to the artwork it is part of or will be integrated into the artwork itself. In the downstairs space there will be the exhibition Architecture of Happiness. This is a solo exhibition of artwork by Tim Moxley. a talented photographer and writer who is also known for his expertise in carpentry and construction. He is a long time member of the Art Association of Oswego and serves on its board of directors.
The Art Association of Oswego is located at 30 Barbara Donahue Drive, directly across from Fort Ontario at the northern end of East 4th Street in Oswego. Regular gallery hours are from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturdays, from 1 pm to 4 pm on Sundays, and 10 am to 2 pm on Wednesdays.
