Eunice M. Rose, 89, formerly of Co Rt. 7, Oswego, went home to the Lord March 5, 2011 at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mable (Moss) McCracken.
She was an organist and member of the Southwest Oswego Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering and loved to take care of her family.
She was also a member of the Oswego Valley Fiddlers and Senior Citizens New Horizon Band where she played the violin.
Surviving are three daughters, Jacquelyn (Steven) Treat of Queensbury, NY; Janice (Thomas) Herbert and Brenda (Ed) Southgate, both of Oswego; a son, Lawrence E. Rose of Oswego; one sisters, Mary Hamilton of Florida; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Russell L. Rose in 1986 and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 4p.m. Friday, March 11th at the Nelson Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Oswego Town Rural cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 2-4p.m. Friday, prior to the service at the funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
