Evelyn J. Upson, 89, of Fulton passed away Saturday at Sunrise Nursing Home in Oswego.
A native of Camden, Mrs. Upson had resided in Cazenovia, Oswego and Fulton before moving to Liverpool in 1972. She retired in 1983 from Deluxe Check Printers in Liverpool after 15 years. Moving back to Fulton, Mrs. Upson had worked as a cashier for Ingamells Grocery in Fulton and Castrogiavoni’s Grocery in Oswego and as a waitress at Sava’s Restaurant and the Terrace Diner in Oswego.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Upson, who died in 1995, a son, William H. Miller, a sister, Dolores Stanton and a brother, William Parker.
Surviving: a daughter, Cindi L. Loughrey of Oswego; a step daughter, Deborah I. Hurteau of Baldwinsville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Rev. Mark D. Kimpland will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
