FULTON, NY – One of the more popular events on the racing calendar is Family Autograph Night, and that will take place this Saturday at the Fulton Speedway presented by Ferris Mowers.
During the night all the fans will have a chance to come down trackside to get up close to the cars and meet their racing heroes. Drivers will have handouts and be available for pictures, autographs, and to answer questions from fans of all ages.
On the race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds/SUNY Canton Sportsman/NAPA Late Models/E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Hilton’s Automotive Four Cylinders.
Last Saturday all that can be said about Larry Wight’s run in the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds is Total Domination.
Wight took the lead in the 35-Lap feature on lap 9 after starting 12th and never looked back, winning by more than 8 seconds over second place Danny Johnson.
TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Billy Decker 148. Danny Johnson 140. Larry Wight 139. Jimmy Phelps 138. Pat Ward 126.
Defending SUNY Canton Sportsman Track Champion Ron Davis III was finally able to shake the early season gremlins that were plaguing him in 2015. Saturday night Davis took the lead at the drop of the green and easily out-distanced the field.
TOP-FIVE POINT STANDINGS – Billy Clark Jr. 164. Mike Button 140. Tony Finch II 136. Brandon Ford 122. Jeremy Dygert 121.

There is nothing better than watching a first time winner celebrate in victory lane with family and friends. High School student Dorian Wahdan drove the race of his early career parking his CJ’s Car America/No.06w in E&V Energy Novice Sportsman in victory lane for the first time.
Jim Money made a surprise visit behind the wheel of the Wendall Washington No.7 Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders. Washington’s choice of Money to drive his car paid off as Money started deep in the field in an impressive run to victory lane.
