MEXICO, NY – “We are delighted to be able to help sponsor the SAFE (Substance Awareness Family Education) Fair! This is an amazing opportunity for families to have a free, fun-filled time together while also becoming more aware about safety through education and awareness. Farnham Family Services is a not-for-profit, organization that helps people with substance use and behavioral health disorders by providing high quality, skilled outpatient treatment and prevention services available to all residents of Oswego and surrounding counties.
Services are licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
Farnham Family Services has offices located in the cities of Oswego and Fulton.
The first Oswego County SAFE Fair will include music by DJ Dave Spencer, Karaoke by J&C Knopp Karaoke, carnival-type games, raffles, door prizes, food and snacks, 50/50, along with exhibits and information on substances, treatment and prevention.
This is a free family event for all ages with a special drawing for youth under 21 who visit at least four exhibits.
The event is scheduled for August 16 at the Mexico VFW Post 369 on Scenic Avenue in Mexico from noon to 5 p.m.
The VOW Foundation is a non-profit organization named in honor of Victor Orlando Woolson who died in 2012 from a fatal reaction to synthetic drugs.
