Fatal Crash in Town of Palermo Claims Second Life


FULTON, NY – On June 16, 2014, Barbara Fedeli was also pronounced deceased at University Hospital in Syracuse from injuries suffered in Sunday’s crash, state police said today (June 18).


(Fulton, NY – June 17, 2014) – On Sunday, June 15, 2014, State Police in Fulton responded to a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 11:47am at the intersection of State Route 3 and State Route 264 in the Town of Palermo, Oswego County.

The investigation revealed a 2008 Honda Motorcycle operated by Raymond C. Fedeli, age 74, from Greece,NY along with his passenger Barbara Fedeli, age 75 were at the intersection of State Route 264 and State Route 3 attempting to turn north onto State Route 3 when he entered the intersection and failed to yield to a 2002 Chrysler Sebring, operated by Leonard O. Gibeau, age 34, from Oswego, NY who was traveling southbound on State Route 3.
Raymond Fedeli was pronounced deceased at  Oswego Hospital. Barbara Fedeli was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for non-life threatening injuries.  No other injuries were reported.
