Feedback On A New Superintendent Of Schools Sought

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City School District Board of Education has commenced a search for a new superintendent of schools.

Recently, the Board of Education approved the appointment of Castallo & Silky of Syracuse to assist the district in seeking a replacement for David Fischer who retired from the Oswego City School District.

The Board of Education will conduct a thorough and efficient search for a new superintendent of schools.

Committees have been formed that includes members of the community, parents, teachers, support staff, administrators and department heads as well as students.

These committees will meet during September and early October.

It is the desire of the Oswego City School District Board of Education to make an appointment of the new superintendent of schools during the fall of this year.

Community feedback is being sought and the consultants are independently conducting the on-line survey.
