The Oswego Farmers’ Market will conclude a successful season when the final market is held this Thursday, October 9th.

Steve Westcott will provide the musical entertainment for the final market.

This year’s Farmers’ Market hosts over 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, home made baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausages and more.

“This has been a great season for the Farmers Market,” said Gail Goebricher of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.  “I would like to thank all of our vendors and everyone who helped to support the Farmers Market all summer long.  Don’t miss this last chance to join Oswego’s weekly community block party and catch up on the latest news from all your friends at the Oswego Farmers Market.”

Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets.  Tickets will be available at the Chamber booth each week of the market.  The winning ticket will be drawn during the Pumpkin Festival at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 5th in Washington Square Park.  You need not be present to win.

While the Farmers’ Market is fun for the whole family, the Chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.

The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Oswego sponsor the Oswego Farmers’ Market.  For more information on the Oswego Farmer’s Market contact Gail Goebricher at the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber office, 343-7681.
