Fire did damage to a significant portion of a small home on Fulton’s north side Thursday morning.
The fire was reported in the home at 703 Seward St. at 10:42 a.m., according to Fulton Fire Department Capt. Bill Molascon.
Flames were contained to a couple of rooms of the home, Molascon said.
No one was home at the time the fire was reported. Two dogs were injured from inhaling smoke. Molascon said the owner planned to take them to a veterinarian. Three cats that live in the home could not be found immediately.
The fire is being investigated, he said, and there was no word yet on what may have caused it.
