A home on S. Fifth St. in Fulton suffered heavy damage Wednesday morning from fire.
The county’s 911 center received a call at 7:13 a.m. to report that a building had collapsed and was on fire, according to the Fulton Fire Department.
Fire crews discovered that the two adults who live in the home got out safely. The fire department fought the blaze from the outside of the structure because of the collapse.
No one was hurt in the fire at 38 S. Fifth St. The Red Cross reports it is helping two adults left homeless in the fire.
