First Graders Host Reader’s Theater at Volney Elementary

Nine talented first grader students stared in a Reader’s Theater production during a recent character education assembly held at Volney Elementary School. The students presented the heartfelt story “Bullies Never Win” by Margery Cuyler. The story follows the tale of a young girl who finds that she has the courage to stand up for herself. The audience loved the story and the program provided a perfect opportunity to showcase the actors’ excellent reading and performance abilities.
