FULTON, NY – Flora C. Callen, 91, of Fulton, passed away Friday May 1, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Fulton, a daughter to the late Sisto and Rita Cardinali and lived all her life in Fulton.
Flora graduated from Fulton High School and was an administrative assistant at Black Clawson before leaving to raise her family.
She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Fulton.
Flora enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Callen Sr.; a grandson, Jason Clark; two sisters, Anne Cardinali and Gussie Sereno.
She is survived by her five children: Elizabeth (Robert) Clark of North Carolina, Sistine Callen of Fulton, Anne Marie (Joseph) Antinozzi of Connecticut, Robert (Patricia) Callen of Massachusetts and Lorraine (Chip) Cole of Oswego; two sisters, Anita (John) Procopio and Sarah Fruce both of Fulton; a brother, Ralph (Barbara) Cardinali of Oneida; five grandchildren, Mary Kate (Dave) Stania, Lauren Marie Callen, Emily Mae Cole, Sarah (Bryan) May and Nicole Danielle Antinozzi; two great grandsons, Elijah House and Trevor May; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester and South Third streets, Fulton.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
