FULTON, NY – Oswego County AmeriCorps member Eve Simmonds will be hosting a food drive that will benefit the Catholic Charities of Oswego County Food Pantry.
The drive will be held from July 19 through 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Voorhees Park in Fulton.
Accepted donations include non-perishable food, such as canned fruits, canned vegetables, rice, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, and pasta.
The pantry serves around 300 people each month, and it’s imperative that they have enough food to serve everyone.
“Due to the increase in client need in recent months, it’s very beneficial if people in the community can help those in need,” said Danielle Losurdo, the supervisor of the pantry.
Anyone needing more information or interested in volunteering can contact Simmonds at [email protected] or at (315) 529-0842.
