Former Rotarian Greg Mills, new owner/operator of Murdock’s Bicycles and Sports, joined the club for lunch and the story of his journey.

Mills shared his days growing up in the village of Lyons and his early years at the age of 24 at a Rotary club there.

Early years in the banking brought Mills to Oswego where he was employed at Oswego City Savings (now Pathfinder) Bank.

Mills has also spent time in the private/not-for-profit sector.

Being asked for advice from the former owner of Murdock’s, Mills realized the dream of a lifetime had just fallen in his lap.

Mills is athletic, with a competitive streak and a cyclist – the opportunity was perfect.

Approaching a year as the owner/operator of Murdock’s, life is good and so is business.

Murdock’s is located at 177 W. First St., Oswego.
