Frances I. Hageny, 82, a resident of East Cayuga St. Oswego, passed away August 18, 2011.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Pilon) Raby.
She worked as a waitress for Wades and Jack & Benny’s restaurants’. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Julia (David) Barbeau and Kathleen (Richard) Nelson, both of Oswego; a son-in-law Stanley Carpenter of Mexico; seven grandchildren, Hope Barbear, Wendy Barbeau, Ben Barbeau, Casey Nelson, Adam Nelson, Michael Carpenter and Beth Carpenter.
She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Hageny (1999), a daughter, Michele Carpenter and a brother, Charles Raby Jr.
Funeral Services will be held 11a.m. Monday, at the Nelson Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held from 9a.m. to 11a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
