Frances L. Cronk, 82

FULTON, NY – Frances L. Richards Cronk, 82, of Fulton, passed away Monday April 16, 2012.

Frances was a life resident of the Fulton area.

She had worked at Birdseye in Fulton, General Electric, Co. in Liverpool and was last employed as a home health aide.

Frances was an avid bingo player and she loved to crotchet.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Cronk, who died March 30, 1992.

Frances is survived by her four daughters, Alice Moore of Winter Haven, Fla., Celina (James Jr.) Fredenburg of Fulton, Cheryl (Terry Sr.) Recore of Oswego and Pauline (Matthew) Birmingham of Constantia; a sister, Lena Needles of Tennessee; four brothers, William Richards of Oswego, John Richards of Arizona, Nelson (Joyce) Richards of Fulton and Leon (Cathy) Richards of Maryland; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours.

Graveside services will be at noon on Friday at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, County Route 3, Hannibal.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Cronk may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, PO Box 102, 34 E. Bridge St., Oswego, NY 13126.

  1. To the family I did not know her but, I did know Celina and James Jr and my thought and prayers are with the whole family . We the Arnold Family are sadden by her passing and again our conduces go out to the Cronk Family. God Bless you all.

  2. i knew mrs cronk as a child, she and her husband were great friends of the family. she was always nice and whenever they were around i remember having fun and alot of laughter. my condolences go out to her family, friends and loved ones. may she rest in peace.
