Frederick Eusepi, 87

Frederick Eusepi, 87, a former resident of Bishop Commons, Oswego, passed away, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at St. Luke Health Services.

He was the son of the late Louis and Tina (Favata) Eusepi.

Fred was born in Oswego and graduated from Oswego High. He attended Troy Business College in Troy, N.Y.; he also completed the Dale Carnegie Course in public speaking.

He spent most of his life in Albany, and was employed as a service manager with Tri-State Industrial Laundry; he retired in 1994 after 50 years of employment.

Fred was a devoted husband and active member of his church, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception; where both he and his wife served as Eucharistic ministers. After returning to Oswego in 2000, Fred spent his last years as a resident of Bishop’s Commons. There he served as President of the Resident Counsel. Fred also volunteered at Little Lukes. He was a kind, Compassionate, generous man who knew how to enjoy life.

Surviving are two stepchildren, MaryAnn (Williams) Dwileski of Albany, NY and Thomas Williams of Albany NY; two sisters, Grace Dedominico of Long Island and Pauline Farrell of Oswego; one brother, Louis Eusepi of Oswego; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 31 years, Elizabeth (Toth) in 1996; three brothers, Matty Eusepi, Angelo Eusepi and Joseph Eusepi and a sister, Mary Wheeler.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10 am Saturday at St. Josephs Church, Oswego.

Contributions in memory of Fred may be made to St. Joseph’s Church or Bishop Commons.

  1. I met Fred at St Lukes when my mother was recovering from hip surgery. He was a delight and he luved to play his lottery number.
