Frederick ‘Wolf’ Haynes, 63


OSWEGO, NY – Frederick James “Wolf” Haynes 63 of Oswego, died Saturday morning April 6, 2013, at Community General Hospital, Syracuse.

Fred was born in Oswego on July 25, 1949, the son of the late Fred “Hook” and Gloria (Jock) Haynes.

He retired from Eagle Beverage, of Oswego, as a salesman.

Fred served in the United States Navy and he was an active member of the VFW Post 2320, Oswego, and the American Legion Post 268 of Oswego.

Fred is survived by his son, Michael James (Maryanne) Haynes of Syracuse;
grandson, Michael; granddaughters, Amber, Jessica, Kaylee; and great-grandson, Caiden Michael.

In addition he is survived by his brother, Richard Haynes; sisters, Elaine (Victor) Sciortino and Kathy (Rick Engle) Haynes all of Oswego; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister, Diane “Flapper” Haynes.

The family would like you to please join them Saturday at 3 p.m. to celebrate Fred’s life at the VFW Post 2320, on East Bridge Street, Oswego.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, NY.
