Free Digital Photography Workshop at the Public Computing Center

OSWEGO, NY – It’s not too late to sign up for a Digital Photography class this Saturday with professional photographer Jim Russell.

Russell will discuss the various settings found in digital cameras, how to take a good photo and how to import photos from your digital camera onto your computer.

Feel free to bring your camera and USB cord.

This free workshop is from 1 to 3 p.m. at Oswego Public Library’s Public Computing Center.

An iPad versus Galaxy Tablets workshop will also be offered on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Students will learn about Apple iPad and Galaxy Tablet troubleshooting and basics, as well as the pros and cons of each device.

Participants will have an opportunity to try both types of tablets to see which one meets their needs.

The Public Computing Center at Oswego Public Library holds two hour workshops every Saturday to meet the needs of local community members to learn about a variety of computer related topics.
