Five students from the Public Safety and Justice Program at the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation took the plunge, the Polar Plunge that is, raising money and awareness for the Special Olympics.

The annual plunge, held at Oneida Shores Park in Cicero, saw hundreds of daring souls brave the freezing, ice strewn waters to show their support of the worthwhile cause.
