Friends of the Library and Oswego Bookmobile Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser Slated


OSWEGO – The Friends of the Library and Oswego Bookmobile will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser on February 19.

It will be held at the Masonic Lake City Lodge #127, 765 E. Seneca St.

The hours will be from 8 a.m. – noon.

The event will help raise funds that will directly support The Friends of the Library and Oswego Bookmobile’s work promoting literacy in our community.

The breakfast includes all you can eat pancakes, french toast, bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, milk, juice, water or coffee.

The cost is $7 adults, $5 children ages 6-11, children under 6 are free.

There will be raffles of donated baskets and an original watercolor painting of Oswego Public Library, created especially for this event, and donated by the artist, Dr. Mark Humphrey of Oswego.

Oswego Bookmobile will be accepting donations of gently loved children’s books.

Friends of the Library supports the Oswego Public Library and reading in the community by creating public support and awareness for the library through public relations and community engagement efforts.

Oswego Bookmobile’s mission is to empower children in our community to be readers.

The bookmobile brings free books and healthy snacks to at-risk children in Oswego City School District neighborhoods during the months of July and August.
