FULTON, NY – At approximately 8:56 a.m., Fulton Police responded to the parking lot of Empower Federal Credit Union located at 520 S. Second St. in regard to an occupied suspicious vehicle.
On arrival, Fulton Police found one of the individuals in the vehicle was 32-year-old Edward Lamar Moses who provided an address in Cato, NY.
A warrant check on the subject found that he was wanted by the Darlington County South Carolina Sheriff’s Department for Attempted Murder and Kidnapping among other charges.
Moses was taken into custody without incident.
It appears that the occupants of the vehicle had just been talking and had no criminal intent, according to police.
Moses is currently being held in the City of Fulton Police Department’s lock up pending arraignment for being a Fugitive from Justice.
After arraignment Moses will be held at the Oswego County Jail while the extradition process is completed.
Moses was also found to be wanted in the state of Georgia on a weapons charge however Georgia declines to extradite.
