Fulton Civic Leadership Featured At ‘Meet The Neighborhood’ Gathering

FULTON, NY – The community is invited to meet Fulton civic leaders including Mayor Ron Woodward, Fifth Ward Alderman Jay Foster and Six Ward Alderman Lawrence Macner and Police Chief Orlo Green on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at the First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St.

The evening will begin with a free light soup and sandwich supper.

Civic leaders and community members will  enter into conversation starting about 6 until 7 p.m.

Child care will be provided.

This event is sponsored by the recently established Open Doors Neighborhood Center, a ministry of the First United Church of Fulton.

The event is free and open to everyone in the community.

Part of the purpose of the event is to build better communication between citizens and their civic leaders and to encourage neighborhood based cooperation and coordination.

First United Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The congregation is active in the greater Fulton community through the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches and many other avenues of sharing.

The facility offers hearing assistance, and it is accessible to those who are physically handicapped.
