Magic is in the air this November as Fulton Community Theatre proudly presents as part of their 21st Season, “Enchanted Broadway”, the latest entry in FCT’s popular “An Evening on Broadway” cabaret series.
The show runs Saturdays, November 12 & 19 at 8 PM, with Sunday matinees, November 13 & 20 at 2 PM on the stage of Jubilee Hall, Holy Trinity Church, 309 Buffalo Street in Fulton. Tickets are just $10 for adults, $8 students and seniors. For reservations and more information, call 592-2768.
“An Evening on Broadway” is one of FCT’s most enduring traditions. Debuting in the first decade of the theatre’s existence, the program – which features selections from well-known and lesser-known Broadway shows – was revived as part of FCT’s 10th-Anniversary Season in 1999. Since 2005, variations of the cabaret production, each organized around a theme or composer, have been a staple of their seasons.
“Enchanted Broadway” highlights songs from shows with a magical element. The program will features ensemble, solos and duets from “Brigadoon”, “Camelot”, “Wicked”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Damn Yankees”, “Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang”, “Finnian’s Rainbow” and many more.
“Enchanted Broadway” features the vocal talents of Molly Marie Brown, Renee Fenske, Beth Derousie, Kathy Degolyer, Marlina M. Beebe, M Marie Beebe, Dan Williams, William Edward White, and Michael A. Bolio, who is also directs the evening with Williams as musical director/accompanist.
