Fulton Community Theatre’s Golden Age of Broadway Returns This Weekend

FULTON, NY – The Fulton Community Theatre’s latest production in its Evening on Broadway series, “The Golden Age of Broadway, the Music of Porter, Kern, Gershwin, Cohan, Berlin and Rodgers & Hart” returns this weekend with performances scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St.

According to director, Kathy DeGolyer, the show opened last weekend to enthusiastic audiences.

“Those in attendance told us how much they appreciated and enjoyed the show.  Many of them were singing along as our cast performed some great songs from the golden age of Broadway,” said DeGolyer.

The Futon Community Theatre’s “The Golden Age of Broadway: The Music of Porter, Kern, Gershwin, Cohan, Berlin and Rodgers & Hart” will continues with encore performances on June 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. and June 30 at 2 p.m.

As the show also serves as a fundraiser for the food pantry at Catholic Charities, those attending are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food items.

There will also be a drawing for a dinner and movie package with all proceeds benefiting the pantry.

All performances will be held in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Parish.

Jubilee Hall is fully accessible to all audience members.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors/students.

Dessert and coffee will be provided during intermission.
