FULTON, NY – Thanks to the support of Family Video, Catholic Charities’ CYO Program is now offering movies in its newly remodeled teen lounge. Located in Catholic Charities’ CYO Center, the teen lounge offers CYO participants a friendly place to gather with friends, and new make friends, in a safe, supervised environment.
Age appropriate movies are shown available for viewing throughout the week at the leisure of those visiting the teen lounge. According to CYO Supervisor, Stacie Roberts, the movies are a welcome addition to the activities available in the teen lounge. “We have made a number of upgrades to our teen lounge and we are getting a lot of positive feedback from the youth who frequently participate in the CYO Program. They are excited about the opportunity to view movies and look forward to what movie we will be available next,” said Roberts. She added that she was able to add movies to the teen lounge thanks to the support of Family Video, 104 W. Broadway in Fulton. “We appreciate the thoughtfulness of Family Video and manager Nick Graham for providing us with a new movie each week. Their concern for the youth of our community is commendable,” she added.
The CYO teen lounge, which is available for youth 13 and older, offers computer and internet access, x-Box and Wii games, music, board games and more. The CYO Program also offers a game room with billiards, ping-pong, air hockey, and fooseball, as well as a variety of other games and activities including arts and crafts.
