Fulton Family YMCA Offers New Fall Programs For Expecting Moms, Tweens and Adults

At the Fulton Family YMCA we are about strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility one area where we are showing this in is our programming.

We are now offering a Pre-Natal Yoga class on Mondays starting September 16th from 9:30am – 10:30am.

Staying fit for you and Baby is a very important part of healthy living.  Prenatal yoga classes provide a wonderful space for expectant mother to attune to the child in class and in their lives; to revel in this time of growth and joy, and to meet and share with other expectant mothers.  Our certified instructor, Karen Haas, RYT-200, will offer options for poses so students can adapt their practice for their level of fitness and experience.

Splash and Play, a Parent/Child Gym class offers playtime and swim time with your little ones favorite person, you!  This class is designed to give you quality time with your little one and other moms.  This is a 7 week session for ages 6mos-3years, starts September 17th from 10:15am – 11:30am.

Check out our Tween Scene for ages 8-12years.  Tweens can now connect with their friends and participate in a variety of activities, games and crafts.  They will be encouraged to assist in planning their own activities so they will be doing things they want to do!  This program is designed to give youth the skills and knowledge they need to be an active YMCA member. It starts Monday, September 16th and goes from 4:30pm – 8:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Fitness for kids!  Zumbatomic is back.  Zumbatomic classes are high-energy fitness parties.  Packed with specially choreographed routines and the latest music, like hip hop, reggaeton and cumbia.  This program is designed for Youth ages 4 – 12 years.  The Big Starz class if for ages 8-12 and is held from 6:00pm – 6:45pm with Little Starz, for ages 4-7 being held at 6:45pm-7:15pm.  Come and join our new certified instructor, Cindy Donovan, every Monday and Wednesday for this high energy fun.

Women on Weights, also known as W.O.W.   This program is designed specifically for women to educate and familiarize you on how to properly use weight training exercises to effectively improve Strength, Coordination, Balance, Core control.  Engaging in weight training on

This is a small group personal training program and is for healthy individuals who are injury free and without major physical limitations. Classes are available in the evenings.

We offer so many other programs such as silver splash, Active Aquat Fit, Aqu Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Body Blast, R.I.P.P.E.D, Zumba, Zumba Tone, Aqua Zumba and Cycling classes.
