Fulton Force Finishes Summer With NTNLL Championship

FULTON, NY – The Fulton Force elite traveling baseball team finished up its summer tournament schedule by taking first place in the NTNLL Championships hosted in North Tonawanda (Buffalo).

The Force went 4-0 on the weekend beating the Nighthawks twice, Elmira and the Pioneers to bring its overall summer record in elite 14U tournaments to an impressive 16-6.

The Force earned the number 1 seed for Sunday’s championship round and the coveted bye to the semifinals by beating the Nighthawks 13-8 and Elmira 12-3.

The semifinals was the Force’s toughest game holding of the Nighthawks 2-0 and earning a spot in the finals in their third straight tournament in.

The championship game was never in doubt as the Force cruised to a 12-6 win and the title.

It was a fantastic summer for the Force, competing in four tournaments and finishing in the top three in every one.

Finishing third in the Bring the Heat Invitational in Allentown, Pa., finishing second in the prestigious Cooperstown Baseball World’s week-long event, finishing second in the August Avenger in Hershey, Pa., and finishing with a first place championship in the NTNLL Championships in North Tonawanda.

Fulton Force Elite Travel Baseball will be looking to expand in 2015 and will be looking for players this fall to start winter workouts.

The exact dates for any tryouts or showcases will be selected over the next couple of weeks and advertised.
