OSWEGO – NY A Fulton man is facing felony sex charges involving a child.
On Sept. 22 at 9:26 a.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested John E. Painter, 29, of 29 Woodland Drive, Fulton.
He was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sex act, a class B felony and first-degree course of conduct against a child, a class B felony.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that allegedly occurred between Oct. 1, 2015 and Aug. 30, 2016, in the town of Hannibal.
He is alleged to have engaged in oral sexual contact with the victim being less than 11 years of age.
Mr. Painter was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court by Judge Lesley Schmidt and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
He is to return to Town of Hannibal Court on Sept. 27.
