Fulton Man Accused Of Threatening Party-Goers With A Knife

GRANBY – On June 18, at approximately 8:28 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a fight involving a knife at a party on Senior Avenue in the town of Granby.

Following investigation, Daryl L. Chetney, 34, 297 Rathburn Road, Fulton, stands accused of removing a knife from his pocket and threatening to harm family members with it during an argument.

Chetney was taken into custody and transported to SP Fulton where he was charged with Menacing in the 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, both class “A” misdemeanors.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Granby Court on July 11.
