OSWEGO – Deputies have charged a Fulton man with crimes against a child.
On Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 12:22 p.m., Douglas J. Loomis Sr., 37, of 92 ½ Lyons St., Fulton, was arrested in the Oswego County Jail for first degree course of sexual conduct against a child and first degree sodomy, both class B felonies.
The arrest stems from the investigation into incidents that occurred between the months of August 1996 and April 1997 at a residence in the town of Palermo.
He allegedly engaged in repeated acts of deviant sexual intercourse with the victim under the age of 11.
Mr. Loomis was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins and remanded back to the OCJ in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
He is to return to Town of Palermo Court on 10/5/15.
